Back it July Disney announced that Innoventions West in Epcot would be closing in preparation for the beginning of many changes coming to the park. Sadly September 7th crept up and now all of these areas are closed. It was a sad night on Saturday, but so glad that I could be there to get pictures. I have so many wonderful memories of all these locations, especially the Character Spot. I hope you enjoy the pictures and I would love to hear what your memories are of these locations.

All of these changes are part of the reimagining of Epcot and is scheduled to be complete by 2022 in time for Epcot’s 40th Anniversary. I can’t wait to see what Disney has planned for this park.

I was hoping for one more soda before it closed forever, but at 9:50pm, they already had locked the doors and employees were enjoying their last good-byes.

I have so many pictures from this Character Spot and I love them all. I’m going to miss this but I know Disney will create a place where we will be able to continue to get pictures with characters.

“We keep moving forward, opening new doors, and doing new things, because we’re curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths. If you can dream it, you can do it. All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them” – Walt Disney
