Looking for a way to cool off in the Florida heat? Well Typhoon Lagoon might just be what you are looking for. This water park is home to 12 attractions, 8 dining locations and 2 places where you can shop for Typoon Lagoon merchandise. There are so many options for all ages and The Disney Legend of Typhoon Lagoon makes visiting this water park even more exciting.

If you have been to both, or even just one of them, please comment on which you liked best or what you liked most about the water park you visited. I would love to share with clients and friends which water park they should visit if they had to choose just one.

Disney Legend says that a typhoon came through this tropical area and in the wake of destruction left behind ships, fishing gear, surfboards and a varitey of beach items. A shrimp boat, “Miss Tilly”, landed atop Mount Mayday and is still there. Mount Mayday errupts every half hour with a 50 foot geyser of water and the mascot is “Lagoona Gator”. Make sure and keep a sharp eye open for any other sudden typhoons or you might just find “Miss Tilly” on top of Mt. Everest. (Wouldn’t that be a surprise when people entered Animal Kingdom the next day.)
